The Shabby Tea Room #146!

Hello sweeties and welcome today!  Today I'm here to share a project with you for the Week #146 'Favorite Tea Room Project' challenge!  This is a free week -- share anything that you created in 2012 for The Shabby Tea Room challenges that is your 'favorite' project.  If you haven't created anything this year for the Tea Room, share anything that you like -- new or old!

For today's sweet little project, I used Emma and dressed her in an angel outfit from the Christmas Blessings stamp set!  I stamped the iconic sentiment that I remember from the It's a Wonderful Life holiday movie ... we watch that movie every Christmas Eve after dinner -- so this card was perfect to share here with you all today on Christmas Eve 2012!!  I framed the sentiment with a silver flourish frame and added a nosegay to the right of it of delicious blooms, a pink pearl button, silver jingle bells and twine.

Emma's angel dress was stamped on pink polka dotted pattern paper, cut out and adhered.  The wings were stamped on pastel blue patterned paper, cut out, glittered and adhered.  I stamped a halo around Emma's head and gave her a magic wand created from a sewing pin and snowflake sticker!

A couple of layers of patterned papers and card stock along with a pink gingham bow and some inking/machine sewing around the edges complete this oh-so sweet holiday card!  I'm smitten ... how about you??

Very pretty card. My favorite movie is It's a Wonderful Life. I like how you embellished the card.
