The Shabby Tea Room #139!

Hi friends and welcome!  I'm here sharing a card I recently made for The Shabby Tea Room #139 - Shabby Autumn'!  I am the host this week and chose this yummy photo as our inspiration.  I am asking that we all create a card or project inspired by the COLORS IN THE PICTURE, INCLUDE A PUMPKIN AND MAKE IT SHABBY!

I love making shabby cards ... piling them with lots of bits and bobs of pretty little treasures from my craft room!  This card was no exception ... I began by printing the Ornate Frame from Robyn's Fetish onto some woodgrain patterned paper and cutting it out.  On top of that I layered a die cut glittered chipboard heart and a sweet tag stamped using the Paper Sweeties Little Wishes and Stand Add-on #1 sets.  The addition of a pearl brad, button twine, a rusty pin, satin ribbon, crochet trim, a paper doilie and pearls add to the shabby charm of this card!

I stamped a couple more images using the Sweeties Wagon stamp set -- paper piecing the wagon, adhering satin rosettes for the wheels and glittering the white pumpkins!!  Love those sugared pumpkins!!

Please be sure to pay a visit to the rest of the teamies' blogs to check out their amazing inspiration projects this week:

Lenet Mos - To Scrap or Not to Scrap, That's the Question

Rebecca Deeprose - Paper Primrose

Rebekah Faries - Midnite Lullabies Studio

And then we hope you'll have a chance to play along this week with our 'Shabby Autumn' challenge for your chance to win one of the prize packages from Paper Sweeties and Robyn's Fetish!!
