Hello sweet friends and welcome to The Kraft Journal #78 - 'Red, White & Blue'!
For today's 'Red, White & Blue' challenge, I made a sweet little 3-D house! The base of the house is a 4" x 4" Stretched Burlap Frame and the front door is a piece of Mini Canvas Rectangle folded in half. The doorknob is a red button threaded with some Red Baker's Twine. To make the roof, I lined a piece of Precut Chipboard with some Lille Patterned Gaffner Tape and then cut it into a triangle shape using a scalloped square die. I edged the roof with some Blue - Victoria Seam Binding and then wrapped some more Red Baker's Twine around the base of the roof. A Flag Banner Sticker was affixed to a Flag Banner Chipboard and adhered for the chimney.
The windows are made from two 1" square pieces of Chalk Board Stock Paper and then I added shutters cut from C-Flute Corrugated Kraft Paper,
inked with paint to create a shabby look! The addition of some lace
for curtains and an adorable garden flag image stamped onto a snipett
of Buff Ivory Card Stock complete this sweet design!
Please be sure to pop on over to The Kraft Journal Challenge Blog to be inspired by the other teamies' creations this week and then I hope you'll give our Red, White & Blue challenge a try!!
Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs!
