Hi sweet friends and welcome to The Shabby Tea Room's 79th challenge! It's a bittersweet day -- this is the final challenge in this current term with a couple of our sweet and Shabby Girlies and I'm sad to see them go. With change brings opportunities for new fun, so next week we'll have two brand new shabbies to join in on our weekly fun ... stay tuned!!
Danielle is our host this week and has provided this gorgeous photo for inspiration ...
... and asks that we create a card or project with a MASCULINE theme!
Oh my shabby goodness ... masculine makes me nervous! There would be no Prima flowers, no glitter, no doilies, no lace ... and heaven forbid ... no pink! I used this pretty Very Cherry Frame from our sponsor this week in the Tea Room, Heart Song Designs. I colored the cherries, flowers, leaves and berries using the colors from the inspiration photo. It's looking pretty masculine, don't you think??!!??
My brother in law who lives in Florida is celebrating his birthday next week, so I'm going to drop this in the mail for him! Perfect :) The sentiment stamping on this card was made using WMS Holiday Labels No. 14 and Afternoon Tea stamp sets. The shabby and beautiful patterned paper is Time Worn from SU!
Be sure to check out the Shabby Girls' individual blogs to be inspired by their masculine creations:

Pretty card, Debbie, and I love how you turned the sketch on the side. That little clip is a great take on the sketch, too!
So cute! You did a great job making it masculine. Love the clip accent.
Festive fall birthday card. Thanks for playing in Flourishes Fall Fashion challenge.
This is a beautifully designed card, love the bright colors which makes it really have a more masculine feel. Love the little sentiment clipped to the top of the card.
Awesome Debbie! Love how you flipped the sketch to really put your personal mark on this great project. Thanks for playing along with the Waltzingmouse Stamps Sketch Challenge this week.
So pretty, Debbie! I love the way you colored the fruit and angled the branch around your circle!
Great card - lots of lovely details!
Love the blue/red combo! That cherry frame inside the scalloped circle is darling!
