My Time Made Easy ... Creative Cards!

Well, it's hard to believe that it's the first day of June already ... seems as though it was just Christmas!  The first of the month means I have 'happy news' -- all the new June goodies are NOW AVAILABLE at the My Time Made Easy ShopLauren has done it again creating such beautiful papers, lovely stamp sets and fabulous templates/cut files ... {swoon}!!!

Today, the entire My Time Made Easy Design Team will be sharing creative ways to use several goodies from the shop to create a fabulous set of cards ... how fun is that??

Ready ... set ... here we GO!

First I started with the lovely paper pack called Romance ... gorgeous, soft colors of blue, yellow, kraft, brown and white. I printed off enough papers for the base of each card as well as some left over to cut the Just Retail Tag pretty cut file out too using my Cricut!

For the Just Retail Tag base, I mixed and matched the striped patterned papers - alternating between yellow, blue and kraft for the tops and bottoms of the tags.  A bit of machine sewing on the scalloped top and a wee bit of Shabby Vintage Seam Binding from my Etsy Shop in Primrose Cookie Dough, Lacey Blueberry and Cake Crumbs complete the Tag base!

Next I used my Cricut to cut out a sheet of birds using the A Little Birdie cut file - easy peesy!  This just has to be one of my all time favorite pretty cut files in the MTME Shop!  I inked the edges of the birdies to create a time-worn look, added a snipett of vintage lace trim, a button and a heart I punched out using the patterned papers.

Behind each little birdie, I added a bit of baby blue tulle and a pretty little trinket pin!  Sewn onto the Tag base I added half of a paper doilie and some yummy twill tape.

And last, but certainly not least, I created some sentiment tags using the {new} Timed Write stamp set -- die cut them from Spellbinders tag dies and added a bit of button twine and some pretty white pearls!

A pretty sugared flower adorns the center of each Tag nosegay and finally, a teeny tiny pearl for each birdies eye!

And here is the complete set ... so sweet, shabby and FUN to make :)
