Hello friends ... so glad you could pop in today! I have the pleasure, today, to show you some of
Lauren's newest goodies that are hot off the press for the February Release and will be available in the
My Time Made Easy Shop tomorrow -
February 1st! Hold onto your hats gals, this month Lauren has some
extra special treats for us all to create with! I am absolutely smitten with it ALL :)
WOW, this template was so much fun to work with! It's a miniature replica of a candy box that you might receive filled with chocolates for Valentine's Day! What a GREAT template to have on hand for all those gift giving occasions that pop up throughout the year! It's a snap to assemble ... I used my Cricut and cut the box, wrapper and cover out electronically, but this would be equally as easy to assemble by downloading the PDF version of the template and cutting by hand! Easy peesy!!
Now onto that yummy tag ... It's called
Framed Elegance and it's a cut file!
The
gorgeous stamp set is my 'new' favorite from Lauren's shop (next to A Spot of Tea!!) and it's called
Monograms Defined. Oh my ... be still my shabby heart -- this set is scrumptious! It not only has all 26 letters of the alphabet, but it also has 31 a-mazing sentiments to coordinate - WOW! That sweet little pink stamped flower is from the
Grab a Cuppa? set.

This candy/card box was so much fun to decorate and embellish ... a paper doile spritzed with Vintage Pink Glimmer Mist, lace trim, a trinket pin, glittered leaves, berries, tiny jingle bells, baker's twine, buttons, stain flowers, rhinestones, tinsel, glittered chipboard elements, pearls, pom-poms, 3-D paper flowers, rouched satin ribbon -- handmade with lots of {love}! The entire nosegay is assembled on top of a patterned paper doilie -- I printed out some of the new
Cool Romance - Musical Damask Sheet Music digi paper, die cut some into the shape of a doilie and then attached it to the card candy base. Kristin hit a 'home run' with me when she designed this shabby-licious paper!!!
I decided that instead of chocolates (or maybe along with some chocolates!!), my gift box was going to include some handmade thank you cards that I created using the new
Framed Elegance stamp set along with the new
Creative Card/Envelope #1 cut files! GORGEOUS!!!
All these pieces (4 in vanilla, 4 in kraft and 4 in aqua) were cut with my Cricut and only took a couple minutes when done electronically - super easy peesy!! Then came the magic -- inked edges to create a distressed and vintage look, some stamping ...
... and the addition of some embellishments to finish them off. I bundled them together with some baker's twine tied in a sweet little knot for neatness. Voila! In less than 30 minutes I was able to create 4 thank you cards with matching envelopes to nest neatly inside my
Creative Card Candy Gift Box!
And here is the complete set! Isn't it so pretty!! Who wouldn't love to receive such a lovely, handmade from the heart gift ... and throw in a couple of chocolates to add just the right amount of icing on the cake and you'll have a winner on your hands for sure!
