Kraft (Cake Crumbs) paper is one of my all time favorite colors to design with ... I adore the simply and monochromatic palette on this sweet card! I used some yummy Webster's Pages DSP and velvet/organza trim to complete the look I was going for!
I decided to make a shabby little gift bag to coordinate with the card ... what a darling gift set, don't you think?? This sweet, kraft-y set is so simple, yet so elegant and pretty -- {sigh} I think I might have to keep it for myself - YIKES!! I {heart} all the shabby little bits and bobs ... the clothes line with shabby mittens ... the vintage tag with glittered sentiment and some Vintage Winter White Shabby Seam Binding from my Etsy shop ... the Prima newsprint flower, baker's twine, little jingle bells, buttons, safety pins and satin flowers - oh my - scrumptious deliciousness!! The pretty fabric flower in the center is cut from scalloped circle dies, folded the fabric in quarters and glued down onto a paper doilie that I spritzed with Log Cabin and Gold shimmer mist from SU!
Sadly, this post is bittersweet for me ... it will be my last as an official SSCB Sweetie -- my oh my, how quickly the past six months have flown by :( I am looking forward to continuing to play along weekly moving forward as a participant again ... such a fun blog run by fun girls and fun challenges!!
Please pop into the SSCB to be inspired by what the other Sweeties have created this week for your inspiration, and then give this 1-2-3 recipe challenge a try!
