A few NEW techniques!

More cards from the technique class I attended last night!

A few NEW techniques!

I'm so excited ... it doesn't take much with me! I attended a Class last night with my friend, Joan, at Archiver's and learned two new stamping techniques that I've never tried out before! We learned how to do an ink resist technique with White Staz On Ink, and we learned how to color objects (paper or silk flowers/card stock, etc.) using Glimmer Mist Sprays! Very cool ... what do you think?

Hip, hip HOORAY! The new 2009 - 2010 Idea Books and Catalogs just arrived at my house! I think the UPS man thought I was a little crazy as I ran out the front door and met him on the driveway (in my pj's!) giggling with glee!!!

I'd like to invite my stamping friends to a NEW CATALOG LAUNCH OPEN HOUSE!

When: Friday, June 26th 6:00 - 9:00 pm
Where: Debbie's house
RSVP: (required for make and take project supplies!)

What to expect:

· Your NEW Idea Book and Catalog – filled with tons of great ideas!
· Goodie bags for club members in attendance filled with lots of treats to go along with the new catty!
· Free make and take projects to work on while here using some of the new products!
· Refreshments provided by Tastefully Simple!
· FUN!

I'll also have some retired stamp sets/ink for sale at 'trunk sale' prices!

Hope to see you all on Friday!!!

Summer Time FUN Projects!

Aren't this box and card such CUTIES?? Wash away those mid-summer blues ... schedule a stamping workshop with me in July and we can make this cute project and card! Contact me for available dates ... theme workshops are fun! How about a Desperate Housewives, Mommy and Me, Girls' Just Wanna Have Fun or Stampaholic's workshop theme??!! I just LOVE these projects!

For everyone who schedules a Stamping Workshop with me (outside of regular clubs) in July, I will bring a prepared bucket of Tastefully Simple Margarita Mix (Mango or Pomegranate Blueberry) to your party as my 'thank you' to YOU!!

Goodies for my Clubers!

Another really good reason to join a club with me ... I love to stamp and love to give handmade gifts and goodies to my club members!!! Look what I did with my time over the weekend ...

I downloaded these 'wish lists' from the SU website and printed two for each club member. I did some stamping on them with the NEW Razzle Dazzle stamp set and NEW In Colors! I adhered a tab punch at the top of each with a brad and put a magnet on the back so all my club members can post their wish lists on their refrigerators ... where they can see and update their lists daily!

I punched out tab punches with the NEW In Colors for each of the eight categories in the NEW Idea Book & Catalog. I printed out labels on the computer and adhered them onto the tab punches. They are in little ziplock baggies and the club gals can use these tabs to mark the beginning of each new category in the catalogs!

These are the large clips that many of you have seen me use at my open house events and classes ... I decorate the clips, print the name of the dish on cardstock and then put them in front of the dish so everyone knows what they are eating! For these, I inserted some SU Post It Notes so everyone can jot down ideas from the new SU Catty!

Goodies for my Clubers!

These adorable little card stock rings are simply precious!!! I punched out one in each of the NEW In Colors with the large tag punch. I then printed the name of the color on labels and adhered to each tag. Then I stamped one of the little flowers from the NEW Razzle Dazzle stamp set on Whisper White card stock and punched out with the 3/4" punch and glued onto the tag. Lastly, I tied some of the NEW polka dot In Color ribbons onto the ring - one of each color!

These are pens with my Stampin' Up! labels on them. Of course, all my stamping friends will need pens to fill out their 'wish lists' for items from the NEW Idea Book & Catalog!!!

Each cluber will get a few sheets of SU page markers to mark the pages that have the items on their wish lists! They'll also get a 'Preferred Customer' punch card ... each square equals $10 in orders and when the card is completely punched, they'll get $10 off their next SU order - yippiee!!

Goodies for my Clubers!!

I know my club gals are ANXIOUSLY AWAITING the UPS man delivering their new SU Cattys to my house ... ANY DAY NOW!! As soon as they arrive on my doorstep, I will book some time to host an open house new catty launch party here! I'm working on putting together a few make-and-take projects for them to assemble so they get to play around with some of the new products right away and not have to wait until the July clubs or the Fun in the Garden Class!!

I had a very relaxing weekend ... stayed in almost all weekend (except to go out a few times for FOOD!) and watched the US Open Golf Tournament with my husband while working on stamping projects! It was like heaven!! Very quiet in the house and so peaceful ... I treasure these moments!

I decided to treat my club members to goodie bags to go with their new 2009 - 10 SU Idea Book & Catalog! I cased a few of these ideas from Chat Wszelaki's blog and I just love everything! My clubers are such a special group of ladies and I'm so thankful to be able to spend time with them each month and share our passions for paper crafting together! This is just a small token of a very big and heartfelt THANK YOU to all my wonderful stamping clients! This was supposed to be a surprise for them, but I'm so excited about how the goodie bags came out, that I couldn't contain my enthusiasm and just had to share TODAY! Yes, I know ... I'm a complete addict!! If you're reading this, then YOU are TOO ... don't you just love it??!!??
Enjoy peeking!

It was the perfect little pick me up to brighten my day and even had a special something stamping surprise inside!! Isn't is the cutest card? How did Nicole know that pink was 'my' color??!!??

July Club Challenge!

I’m sending the July Club Challenge out early before we’ve had a chance to complete the June Stamping Clubs, but I wanted to give you all a chance to get busy on this if you’re interested in participating. This is a GREAT way to clean out those drawers and closets and get rid of some cards you may already have on hand to make room for new ones!!

Instead of doing one of our traditional swaps or challenges in July, I’ve decided on something different next month. There is an organization called ‘Cards For Heroes’. They collect handmade cards and ship them overseas to troops so the troops then can mail them back to loved ones. Their website is . So for July, I will be collecting as many cards as I can to send to CFH. The person who comes to July clubs with the most number of cards will win a prize! Some tips, in case you don't get a chance to look at their website:

~No envelopes needed
~Any size card, but preferably A2 (5 1/2 x 4 1/4)
~NO GLITTER - the glitter can get on the troops' cammo, and can adversely affect their night missions
~All holidays and occasions accepted
~They are in great need of kids' birthday and miss you, as well as masculine cards
~You can make several of the same card/design or they all can be different
~Leave the inside blank
~ The military pays postage for the troops

I am interested in supporting this organization because my brother-in-law, a Sarasota, FL Police Officer, is an ex-Marine of 20 years and fought in the Dessert Storm War in Iraq. What better way to help out troops then by doing what we love to do - STAMP!
