Let the November My Time Made Easy PEEKS begin!

Hello sweet friends and welcome to the first day of peeks for the November My Time Made Easy Release!  This month's new products are very near and dear to my heart ... they are all about pets -- puppies and kitties - oh my!!  I am a mama to a sweet little kitty named Sydney and a spunky little toy poodle named Hershey, so I really {loved} creating gift sets this month with the new goodies -- they will be PERFECT to give to their caretakers over the holidays (groomer, pet sitter) ... simply PERFECT!

Introducing ... CRAZY FOR CANDY!

A-dor-able, right??!!??  As you can see, I fashioned my gift to look just like my very own little kitty!!  This was a totally FUN template to assemble -- neat how you can personalize it to look like your pet!!

Mine was doing her 'kitty thing' -- NAPPING -- when I tried to snap a couple pics of her ... she was very annoyed that mama was disturbing her sleepy time (23 hours out of the day!) to photograph her!

Sydney has the prettiest blue/green eyes ... when she opens them -- so I gave my template kitty blue eyes too!  I used some chalk to add rosey cheeks ...

... and gave her a sweet pink collar & tag created using a couple of images from the *new* Paws-itively Sweet digital stamp set!  I even included a bell on her collar to warn the birdies when she is coming to stalk!!  IRL, my kitty is inside only, so she doesn't get to stalk the birds -- but she loves watching them from the screened porch on warm, sunny days :)

And you can see that I even added a couple of little front paws on my template kitty just like Sydney's!  Whenever she lays down, she tucks her front two paws in and under her ... so I coaxed her to put them out in front of her so you could see them ... she also has 4 little white 'mittens' on her paws ... she's so cute!!

Template kitty has white mitten paws just like Sydney!!

And I whipped up a sweet little card using some more digital images from the Paws-itively Sweet stamp set along with some pretty in pink kitty theme paper from the *new* Pampered Pet collection.

This will be 'the perfect' gift to give to Sydney's pet sitter the next time we return from vacation -- don't you think??!!

Be sure to hop on over to these teamies' blogs today as they have prepared some FUN projects to share today using the Crazy For Candy template also:

... and then be sure to stop by the My Time Made Easy DESIGNER'S GALLERY for lots more project ideas and inspiration!!

I'll be back here again on Thursday -- the 1st -- for the big Release Party festivities and fun.  You won't want to miss a single minute ... see you then!!

Hugs!

The Shabby Tea Room #138!

Hello my sweet stampy friends and welcome to The Shabby Tea Room #138 - 'Hey Pumpkin!'!  Rebecca is our creative host this week and she has chosen the this adorable photo for inspiration!  Rebecca asks that we create a card or project based on the colors in the photo and include a flower!

I can't even begin to tell you how much FUN I had this week creating this card!  It has 'got to be' one of my all-time favorites ... so sweet with all the Paper Sweeties elements added to the scene -- perfectly delicious and all 3-D ... glittery, sparkly, adorable and FUN!

I began by stamping Emma on vanilla card stock, coloring in her face and arms with SU! pastel chalks and then coloring her hair with Prisamark pencils and gamsol -- I added rosey cheeks with chalk and then gave her a scarecrow nose with markers.  I cut her out and adhered a couple of dimensionals to her backside.  I adhered two strips of Espresso grosgrain ribbon for the straps on her bodice and then created a puffy 'scarecrow' gown from Webster's Pages netting!  A running stitch along the top of three snipetts of netting allowed me to create the gathers.  I tied the dress onto Emma's little body with some satin ribbon and then stamped the sunflower from the Stand Add-on #2 set for her to hold in her hands!   The hat was stamped using the Best Witches! set -- onto patterned paper, cut out and glued on!

To create the scene, I stamped three clouds from the Happy Fall Ya'll set onto polka dotted patterned paper and cute them out - using dimensionals on the third one to make it 'pop' out!  I stamped the cornstalk and two pumpkins from the Stand Add-on #3 set - cornstalk on yellow patterned paper, cut and adhere ... pumpkins on vanilla card stock and then colored with Prisma pensils & gamsol -- then sugared with glitter - yum!!

I created some rolling hills with a couple of pieces of green patterned papers - dimensionals in between the layers to create some more texture.  And then to finish my little card, I stamped a sentiment from the Sweeties Wagon set onto a banner from Banner Wishes and adhered it to the card vertically for a little twist!

What do ya' think???  The photo does not do this 3-D card justice ... it's so dimensional and textured IRL :)  These would make A-DOR-ABLE fall party invitations!!!  Or how about a fall birthday?  So sweet ... Emma makes a very cute scarecrow -- she's ready for Halloween or a fall party!!

The Ribbon Reel #40!

Hello friends and welcome to my blog today!  What did you do today -- anything special and fun?  I hope it involved something stampy and creative!   Let me know :)

I'm here today to share a little something I recently created for The Ribbon Reel #40 - Rainbows!  We are to create a card or project using colors from the rainbow and include ribbon/twine - easy peesy!!

I made a rainbow banner using yummy buttons from The Ribbon Reel Shop - delicious!!   My button banner is strung on some natural button twine and anchored with two mini clothes pins

I adhered a paper heart doilie on top of a plain brown kraft little bitty bag - which I machine sewed around the edges for texture.  I added a couple of pops of small aqua pom-pom trim along the edge of my rainbow patterned paper ... and then created a tag to pull out of the bitty bag!  I stamped the sentiment using the Paper Sweeties You Are Simply The Best set and rouched a bit of hot pink sheer ruffle edge ribbon.  I tied some more natural button twine around the rouched hot pink ribbon and attached a gold charm.  Lastly, I added a snipett of turquoise center stitched grosgrain to the top of the tag.

Please visit The Ribbon Reel Challenge Blog to check out the bright and cheery, rainbow inspiration from the rest of the teamies this week ... and then we hope you'll have time to play along for your chance to win some goodness from The Ribbon Reel Shop!

Thanks for popping in today!!

Creative Paper Trade + Paper Sweeties = FUN!

Hi ya' sweeties ... so happy you're here today!  I have some FUN news to share :)  Paper Sweeties is sponsoring the current challenge at The Creative Paper Trade - yippiee!!  I have been a long-time fan of Andrea's amazing work and was smitten with her unique take on inspiration challenges as soon as I saw the first one go live on her site!  I am beyond tickled to be partnering with Andrea for the next two weeks to sponsor challenge #4!!

For the current challenge, we are to be inspired by one, two or all three of these themes:

Colors- Green, Light Blue, Orange/Yellow, Purple
Hearts
Circles

I took my inspiration from the 'hearts' and 'circles' themes and created a sweet little shabby card using the Little Wishes tag and sentiment set from Paper Sweeties!  I included a glittered chipboard heart, a circular shaped button, tag, jingle bells and pearls ... and die cut the card stock for the base of my card with a scalloped circle.

A couple more bits and bobs of treasures from my baskets -- some crocheted lace trim, trinket pins, pink paper flower, aqua felt leaves, button twine, digital print from Janet's Etsy shop and some french script text stamping complete my little creation today!

Please be sure to check out The Creative Paper Trade challenge #4 and play along for your chance to win TWO FREE STAMP SETS from Paper Sweeties!  I cannot wait to see how you'll be inspired and what you'll create!

Care Deeply ...

Hello peeps!  How are you all doing today?  I hope you're having a perfectly wonderful Monday!!

I have a little card to share with you today that I created based on this week's CAS(E) this Sketch #2! challenge:

Such a fun sketch ... I couldn't help myself ... I had to create something with it!!

I used a sentiment stamp from the You Are Simply The Best set from Paper Sweeties!

And I added a couple of quick little bits and bobs of shabby treasures ... but not too many so I didn't lose the CAS element of the sketch!

What do ya' think??

Remember we have lots of fun going on this week at the Paper Sweeties October Release FB event HERE!!  And a couple of contest running on the Paper Sweeties BLOG until 10/31!

The Kraft Journal #93!

Hello friends and welcome to The Kraft Journal #93 - 'Inside and Out'!

For today's 'Inside and Out' challenge I created a sweet Halloween pocket - complete with a spooky pull-out tag!  To begin, I cut two pieces of Lunch Bag Kraft Card Stock 3 3/4"x 3 3/4", inked the edges and machine sewed them together with a zig-zag stich - leaving the top open to insert the tag.

Next, I added a rouched ruffle using some Canvas Fringe.  Then some delicious Black Baker's Twine was wrapped around the rouched ruffle, a Bottle Cap, two Pewter Stick Pins, a tag stamped from the Little Wishes and Too Cute To Spook stamp sets onto a X-Small Grungy Prim Tag and a sweet Black Wooden Clothes Pin were adhered on top of the ruffle.  I added five Memo Quilted Stickers on the right side of the pocket and then adhered a glittered pumpkin sticker.  The last step in completing this sweet pocket was to stamp a sentiment from the Too Cute To Spook set and add some silver rhinestones!

For the inside portion of my project, a pull-out tag was created using a Small Kraft Shipping Tag, inking the edges and attaching a piece of Black Twill Tape to the top.

A sentiment was stamped from the Best Witches stamp set and then a length of Natural Hemp Cord was tied around the middle of the tag.  A snipett of Washi tape was added and onto that,I layered two Flag Banner Numbers Stickers, some more silver rhinestones and a sweet silver jingle bell!

Please be sure to stop by The Kraft Journal Challenge Blog to be inspired by the other teamies' amazing projects this week and then we hope you'll give our 'Inside and Out' challenge a try for your chance to win some crafty goodness from The Kraft Outlet Shop!

Have a wonderful day!!

Butterfly Kisses ...

Hello sweet friends and welcome!  I hope you're having a good day so far ... doing things you enjoy to do!  I have a little card to share with you all here today that I made -- just because!!  It's rare and quite a treat to make a card for the fun of it ... not for any assignments or deadlines!  I enjoyed every single scrappy minute of the creative process ... enjoy peeking!!

I stamped the sentiment banner using a phrase from the You Are Amazing set available at the Paper Sweeties Shoppe!  The butterfly is Jenni Bowlin, pleated flower from Girls' Paperie, cor'dination cardstock, gold glitter chipboard, ticking stripe grosgrain ribbon and embossing folder from Stampin' Up!

October Paper Sweeties Release Wrap Up!

Hello sweet friends and welcome to the final day of peeks and share for the October Paper Sweeties *new* stamp release!  What did you think of the new sets this month?  Which one was your favorite??

Today I'm sharing a sweet card I created for Thanksgiving using Jake and Sophie dressed as pilgrims!!

I am completely smitten with the puffy clouds contained in the*new* Happy Fall Ya'll set ... here I stamped them onto vanilla text patterned paper, cut them out and adhered, using dimensionals on the third cloud to make it pop out!!   I adore the *new* Sweeties Wagon stamp set and already have plans in the works for add-on accessory sets for the November & December releases!!  I paper pieced the pumpkins and wagon box onto patterned papers, cut out, adhered and used glittered buttons for the wheels!

Jake and Sophie look adorable dressed as pilgrims using the*new* Gobble Gobble and Happy Thanksgiving stamp sets!  I added a bit of sugary glitter to Sophie's hat brim, lacy cuffs ... and the pumpkin pie she is carrying to dinner!!  The main parts of the outfits were stamped on kraft patterned papers instead of coloring -- I love the texture the pattern papers give to the clothes!  I used burlap for the grass ...

... and stamped a sentiment from *new* The Splendor of Autumn set to complete my card!
