My Time Made Easy - Let the June Peeks Begin!

Hello friends and welcome!  I'm so happy you stopped by for a visit today ... I have a super sweet little project to share with you all today that I recently designed for the June My Time Made Easy release!

Introducing ... HAPPY CAMPER!

Okay ... so my project looks like a watermelon and not a camper, but isn't it {sweet}??!!  I simply turned the template upside down, created a little half circle for the fruit center and cut out some adorable black 'seeds' with a flower punch!  My box is filled inside with Jolly Rancher Watermelon Candies!   This adorable gift box couldn't be any easier to assemble in minutes!

For the coordinating card, I used Ga Ga For Gingham and Spring is Here papers along with the Well Preserved acrylic stamp set ... yummy enough to eat!!!

I adore the mix of gingham with the polka dots and this stamp set is one of my favs!!

And there you have it ... something a little unexpected and out-of-the-box!  I hope you enjoyed peeking at my little set today ... please be sure to hop on over and visit these other teamies who have wonderful projects to share today also:

And for more wonderful inspiration, be sure to check out the My Time Made Easy DESIGNER'S GALLERY!

And then be sure to come back for another visit here tomorrow where I'll have another pretty little gift set project to share for the big My Time Made Easy June Release Party ... you won't want to miss a minute of the fun!!

The Kraft Journal #73!

Hello sweet friends and welcome to The Kraft Journal #73 - 'Emboss and Embellish'!

I began my card design for today's challenge with a card base of  Buff Ivory Card Stock onto which I adhered a piece of embossed and inked Brown Kraft Card Stock - the embossing folder is my all-time favorite - Vintage Wallpaper from Stampin' Up!   Next, I created a sweet nosegay consisting of two Antique Stick Pins, a snipett of Victoria Seam Binding and some Natural Hemp Cording.  The frame was backed with a piece of Vintage Dictionary Pages and then the letter 'B' was adhered.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment onto a label die cut from another piece of  Buff Ivory Card Stock - the sentiment is from the Inspiring Sentiments stamp set available at Inspired by Stamping!

Please be sure to check out The Kraft Journal Challenge Blog to be inspired by the other teamies' creations this week and then we hope you'll give our 'Emboss and Embellish' challenge a try for your chance to win an awesome prize from The Kraft Outlet Shop!!

Waltzingmouse May Blog Hop Party WINNER!

A big and heartfelt thank you goes out to Claire, the WMS girlies and Mr. Random for choosing my name as the winner of a stamp set for the May Blog Hop Party - 'Cozy Things'

I created this art block for the quilt that I have been designing since last summer along with my crafty friend, Tammy Roberts!  This is block #8 ... I originally had thought I would add 12 blocks total to my quilt, but I'm thinking I may be 'done' and it may be time to sew it all together??

Anyway, I'm excited and thrilled to be receiving a new WMS stamp set ... can't wait to get crafty with it as soon as it arrives!!

Waltzingmouse May Blog Party - Cozy!

Hello sweeties and welcome to my blog today!  I hope for all those in the US you're getting a fun head start on the Memorial Day holiday weekend!  I am ... my guys are golfing today so I have the house quiet and to myself ... I'm crafting the day away in my stamp room -- BLISS!!

I'm so happy I had a little time today so I could join in on the fun over at Waltzingmouse Makes for the WMS May Blog Party!!  This month's challenge is to incorporate WMS into a project that also includes felt or cozy fabrics!  For my little project, I decided to make another block for my art quilt!  I had so much fun going through my stash and treasure baskets to find 'just the right' goodies to include on this block!  The pink floral background cotton fabric is recycled from a wrapper that was around a set of new sheets I recently purchased.  The white chenille square (SO cozy!) is a piece from an antique bedspread I recently picked up while antiquing!  The vintage cream brocade trim is also old from another antique show.  The cream doilie is from my stash, the white fabric leaves are from Prima and the gorgeous celery green satin bloom is from Melissa Frances!

I included a couple more fabric goodies -- a pink felt bird from Martha Stewart, a snipett of vintage lace trim from an antiquing adventure, some white tulle netting from Webster's Pages and a sweet piece of Baby Pink Berry shabby seam binding from my Etsy Shop!

I used the WMS Paris Nouveau and Holiday Label No. 14 stamp sets to create a pretty little banner tag and adhered it under the satin bloom.  This art quilt was SO MUCH fun to create ... now if I only could find the time to complete my quilt and share all of it's shabby prettiness with you here!

Thank you for allowing me to share this sweet little treasure with you that I created from my heart -- full of bits and bobs of everything I adore!!

Hugs!

Featured Artist at Inspired by Stamping!!

Hello sweet friends and welcome to my little 'ol bloggity blog today!  I hope you're having a wonderful stampy day so far!!

Today I have the absolute pleasure and distinct honor to share a card I designed for this month's Inspired by Stamping Designer Spotlight

I used the IBS stamp set called Inspiring Sentiments to create this little gem!  My cards and paper crafted treasures come together effortlessly when I used Joanna's gorgeous stamp sets ... swoon!!  This set is among one of my FAVORITES!!

The papers are from Crate and Beatriz Jenning's Etsy, flower and velvet/crochet trim from The Ribbon Reel, glittered chipboard heart from Melissa Frances and trinket pins from Maya Road.

A HUGE thank you to my bestie, Joanna, for spotlighting my card on her lovely blog today!  I am so completely honored to design for Joanna ... she is one of the loveliest people I know and her talent is beyond amazing!

Thanks so much for stopping by today for a visit ... I so appreciate all your lovely comments!  Have a fantastic day and I hope you get some stampy time in too!!
