Let the March peeks begin at My Time Made Easy!

Hello sweeties and welcome to my blog today ... I'm so happy you popped in for a visit!  I'm super excited to share a few projects with you all that I have designed for the My Time Made Easy March Release!  The teamies and I will be sharing our little handcrafted treasures with you all over the next couple of days, so be sure to come back and visit again when you have time ... I know I say this every month, but this release is going to blow you away!!

Here we go ... introducing ROUND AND ROUND!

This sweet template has just become one of my favorites!  When I say easy peesy to assemble ... I really mean it -- 3 pieces plus the decorative scallop bottom, snap, done!  The sides of my Easter basket are made with some {new}  Spreading Spring Cheer paper ... love me those polka dots ... they look like jelly beans, don't they??!!??

I made a little basket handle from some scrap cardstock and machine sewed a zig-zag stitch down the middle!  I adhered some pretty hot pink ruffled fabric trim around the basket and then attached a couple of yummy buttons tied with baker's twine.  A satin flower and felt leaves added to the front of the basket complete this little sweetie pie and then I added a yummy white chocolate Dove bunny sitting on top of the irridescent crinkle - too sweet!

The coordinating card was designed using another little piece of Spreading Spring Cheer paper along with the {new} Fine Finish tags cut file and the {new} Round Off digital stamp set -- LOVE!!! I added another satin flower and cute little buttons that remind me of candy to complete the design!

And here you have it ... a sweet little treat ... good enough to give or eat!  This set came together so easily, I think I'll make a couple to give out for this Easter season ... precious!!

We have some more exciting news to share over at My Time Made Easy this week ... we are announcing some brand new talent added this month to our Design Team!  Please be sure to click on over and have a visit with all the teamies ... the inspiration projects this month are going to make you swoon!!!

The Shabby Tea Room #103!

Hello friends and welcome to The Shabby Tea Room challenge #103 - 'Shabby Shutters'!  This week Fran is our fabby shabby host and she has chosen this beautiful photo for inspiration ...

... and Fran asks that we create a card or project inspired by the photo and USE NAVY and NEUTRALS PLUS A DISTRESSED ELEMENT!

The Tea Room sponsor this week is Little Darlings Rubber Stamps and I got to design with their 'Going For a Ride' digital stamp!  My distressed elements are a piece of cardboard packaging that I painted with cream paint and the navy blue cardstock that I inked along the edges.  Another 'distressed' element is the Vintage Winter White and Cake Crumbs Shabby Vintage Seam Binding from my Etsy Shop that I hand tea-stained to create a time-worn look!

Please be sure to check out the awesome inspiration from the rest of the teamies ...

The Kraft Journal #59!

Hello sweet friends and welcome to The Kraft Journal #59 - 'Fantastic Finds'!!

For today's challenge, I used a piece of vintage lace trim that I found on an antiquing trip!  This gorgeous trim measures 3 1/2" wide and is so beautiful!  First, I started with a cardstock base of Buff Ivory.  On top of that, am embossed layer of Lunch Bag Kraft cardstock was added.  Next some more pretty lace trim was added along with a row of yummy buttons!  For the nosegay, I made a sweet little puff with some aqua tulle.  A lovely fabric bloom was adhered along with a couple of stamped angel wings, another button, jingle bells tied on with Red Baker's Twine and the sentiment was stamped onto a painted Chipboard Flag Piece and then attached to the nosegay with a Memo Pin.

Please be sure to visit The Kraft Journal Challenge Blog to be inspired by the other teamies' projects this week and then I hope you'll have time to play along with this 'fantastic finds' challenge!!!

The Shabby Tea Room #102!

Hello sweet friends and welcome to The Shabby Tea Room #102 - 'High Tea'!  This week Cindy is our shabby host and she has chosen this stunning photo as our inspiration ...

... and Cindy asks that we create a card INSPIRED BY THE COLORS IN THE PHOTO AND USE A DOILIE!  Too fun :)

Our fabby sponsor in the Tea Room this week is The Stamp Fairy and I was lucky enough to use their Barry Peeker image to design with!  How adorable is that sweet little teddy bear fella peeking out of the tea cup?!

The tea cup and sentiment are stamped with the A Spot of Tea and Keep it Organized acrylic stamp sets from My Time Made Easy.  Pretty pink blooms are from The Ribbon Reel.

I simply adore how this little sweetie turned out ... what do you think??

The Ribbon Reel #22!

Hello sweet friends and welcome to The Ribbon Reel #22!  This week our challenge has a theme of 'Weathered and/or Distressed' and we're asking everyone to create a card or project using kraft, white, blue or aqua, red with some natural twine or twill.

For my card, I used several pretty ribbons and trims from The Ribbon Reel Shop!   First, I adhered a strip of 20mm Red May Arts Red Grosgrain Ribbon onto the base of my card which is made up of a piece of text patterned paper and a white paper heart doilie.  Next I adhered some gorgeous 15mm Sheer Box Pleat in Ivory over the Red Grosgrain.  I tied a length of Natural Button Twine around the two trims and tied it into a pretty little bow.

Last, I made a little ribbon tab with a snipett of 10mm Grosgrain Center Dot Royal Blue & White for the chimney on the little house!

Please be sure to visit The Ribbon Reel Challenge Blog to be inspired by the other teamies' creations this week and then I hope you'll have time to give our 'Weathered and/or Distressed' challenge a try!!

With Love ...

Hello sweeties!  I hope you're having a perfectly fabulous weekend full of family time and some stampy time too!  I'm so excited to share a tiny little creation I designed today for the Waltzingmouse Stamps February 2012 Blog Party ... 'Spring'!

I'm so ready for spring here in NC ... we're having a perfectly gorgeous day today -- full of sunshine and temps in the 60's!  My little pink cherry tree in our backyard is in full bloom with the prettiest little pink blossoms!  It just makes my heart smile when I look at it!!  Nothing means more to me than pretty spring blooms -- a sense of renewal, everything fresh, clean and new!

I used a combination of Waltzingmouse Stamps for the sentiment on this card from the Compliments of the Season and Vintage Ornaments stamps sets!!  I love how these traditionally holiday sets can be re-purposed for additional projects throughout the year!

I also was inspired by the current Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #85 -- rotated sideways!!  And lastly, I swooned when I saw the current ColourQ #124 inspiration palette, so I used Real Red, Pretty in Pink, Cool Caribbean, Very Vanilla and White in my design!!

Thanks so much for visiting with me today!  Enjoy the rest of your weekend and be sure to make some stampy time for yourself!!

Hugs!
