The Shabby Tea Room #135!

Hello sweet crafty friends and welcome to The Shabby Tea Room #135 - 'Beautiful Romance'!  This week Starr is our creative host and she has chosen the theme of 'Beautiful Romance' along with this beautiful photo for inspiration and Starr asks that you create a card or project inspired by the photo USING PINK, GREEN, WHITE AND LACE!

We are lucky to have My Time Made Easy back this week as our sponsor!!  Lauren has donated a fabulous prize package she designed to help raise awareness for the fight against breast cancer!  With October being National Breast Cancer Awareness month, the Shabby Girls are tickled to be partnering with Lauren this month and excited to use some of the delicious goodies from the Ribbons of Support Package!

I used the Awareness Ribbon Card cut file ... and I made a 'Hope' banner -- all shabby and pink with lots of bits and bobs of treasures from my craft baskets!

The banner tag on the accordion pleat flower (Girls Paperie) is stamped using the You Make Me Smile set from Paper Sweeties!

Lacey paper doilies from Martha Stewart, trinket pins from Maya Road, paper flower from Recollections, sparkler from Webster's Pages, baker's twine from The Ribbon Reel,  glittered chipboard leaves from American Crafts, patterned paper from Stampin' Up!, buttons from Papertrey Ink, glittered binder clip from Making Memories.

I cut two of the Awareness Ribbon Card cut files with my Cricut and then cut them in half to give me four ribbons.  I hand cut four of the decorative layer from various pink patterned papers and layered them on top of the green ribbon bases.

The FUN part was decorating each ribbon with treasures!!  I adhered all the alpha ribbons onto some pink tulle to create this sweet banner!

Please be sure to stop by the other Shabby Girls' blogs to check out their amazing inspiration projects this week:

Lenet Mos - To Scrap or Not to Scrap, That's the Question

Rebecca Deeprose - Paper Primrose

... and then we hope you'll give our 'Beautiful Romance' challenge a try this week for your chance to win an awesome prize package donated by My Time Made Easy!!
