Aqua, Pink and Pearls - Oh My! Challenge and giveaway ...

Click HERE for the Aqua, Pink & Pearls - Oh My!  challenge and giveaway!

Edited:  I was released from the hospital Wednesday, March 27th around 6 pm.  I'm so happy to be home in my own bed resting and recovering!!  I'm even happier that the surgery is behind me now!!  I spent Thursday and Friday in bed and slept most of the day.  My surgeon used the DaVinci Robot on me to perform a complete hysterectomy ... it went very well without any significant complications!  Yeah!!

Today is the first day I didn't feel so groggy.  I'm still on two meds to manage the pain and one med to help with nausea.  My tummy looks like someone played tic tac toe on it -- four incisions, bruising and swelling ... but this will all heal within two weeks from the surgery date and I'll be a new woman in no time!!  My arms are bruised from four IV's they had in me (first attempt to put in an IV blew out my vein and I have a huge bruise on the inside of my left wrist), and I have finger bruises on my legs ... must have happened when they were transferring me from the bed to the OR table

I'm very weak and tired, but happy I decided to have the surgery ... and enjoying being pampered by the hubby!  I have a bell next to my bed and ring it whenever I need something!  I kinda like being the patient and being waited on!!  It feels SO GOOD to be in my own bed and resting in the comfort of my own home.  Thank you all for such lovely comments, heartfelt prayers, cards, meals and flowers ... I'm blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful friends!!!

The entries to date for the Aqua, Pink and Pearls - Oh My! challenge are so pretty ... they made me smile!  I'm looking forward to seeing many more lovely creations ... hope you'll create a little something for your chance to win some yummy, tea-stained seam binding in 15 beautiful colors!
