The Shabby Tea Room #100!

Hello sweet friends and welcome to the 100th challenge at The Shabby Tea Room - WOW!!  This week our challenge theme is 'Candy Hearts' and we have this adorable photo for inspiration ...

... and we're asked to create a card or project inspired by the above photo WITH A FOOD THEME AND HEARTS!

The Tea Room sponsor this week is Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and I chose to design with their I Heart U image!  I printed off two of them onto white cardstock, cut them out, spritzed them with pink glimmer mist and then added a couple of bits and bobs of love to embellish sweetly and then adhered them to a couple of yummy pops!

I knew the Sweet Treats Tote from My Time Made Easy would be the perfect little packaging for these oh-so-pretty in pink pops!!   I used the SVG version of the template and cut all the pieces out with my Cricut!

Next came the fun part ... decorating the gift box sleeve!

I thought an 'I Love You' banner would be the perfect touch for this yummy Valentine's Day themed gift set!  I added a couple of pearls and rhinestones for a little bling factor!  The pink cardstock base was background stamped using a damask image with white ink and then I inked all the edges of the entire project with twill paint to create a time-worn look.

I added a few more bits and bobs of treasures from my baskets ... a pretty blossom, a sweet pink felt birdie, a pair of glittered leaves which I ran some machine stitching over, a die cut butterfly, some pearl flourishes and a scalloped patterned paper border using The Scrapcake's Cozy Christmas Collection.

Here is how this sweet treat looks when the gift box sleeve is opened to reveal the surprise inside!

And here is the gift box closed ... all buttoned up and ready to give to someone special!!
