The Shabby Tea Room #88!

Hello sweeties and welcome to The Shabby Tea Room #88!  This week Melissa is our shabby host and has chosen the theme of  'A Shabby Pastel Christmas' and given us this stunning picture for inspiration ...

... and Melissa asks that we create a card or project inspired by the photo with a holiday theme!

This week's Tea Room sponsor is Creations by AR and I got to design with Adela's 3-D Fireplace Card Template ... isn't it the sweetest!!

I stamped an image onto the front of the fireplace with embossing powder in Bridal Lace - so pretty IRL!  I added a snipett of a paper doilie to look like a real mantel doilie!  The wreath was made using a Spellbinder die and a Martha Stewart punch for the bough branches.

The sweet stockings, lovely trees, baubles and sentiments were stamped using the Christmas Cheer set from Inspired by Stamping!   Love!!!

I designed a card to match to create a gift set!  More of the same yummy embellishments plus some Rose Beige Glitter shabby vintage seam binding from my Etsy Shop, baker's twine and a rusty jingle bell to complete this sweet little card!

So soft and oh-so-pretty-in-PINK!!!

And there you have it my friends ... a handmade from the heart treasure suitable for all your gift-giving needs this holiday season!  I don't know if I can bear to part with my set ... it might find a home living here this holiday!!!

Please be sure to check out the other Shabby Girls individual blogs for lots more yummy 3-D inspiration this week:

Hi Debbie

Well this is so totally, totally gorgeous - but then your creations ALWAYS are *sigh* off to have a look at your teamies over at TSTR. I've not been commenting lately or joining in the challenge as I've been getting ready for a craft fayre which I did on Saturday! So hoping to be back in the land of blogging and commenting!

Take care
