Peace ...

Hello sweet friends!  So happy you popped in today!!  I have an oh-so-pretty in {pink} card to share with you all today that I designed this morning 'just because'!  The holidays will be here before we know it, so I'm trying to get the jump on my card making and gifts!

This card is a 'two-for'!!!  I created this pretty little bloom by adhering 2" x 4" strips of patterned papers, lace trim and ribbons together and then adding a bit of bling in the center to finish it off!  Following the Mojo sketch (turned sideways) instead of leaves, I used a seam binding bow with Cake Crumbs from my Etsy Shop!  Love me some shabby seam binding!!!

I plan to give this card to a friend of mine who has a daughter and let her know that she can lift the bloom off of the card base, attach a pin or barette and then her daughter can wear it in her hair or attach to a sweater!  Heck, the mom can attach it to a sweater of her own for that matter!  What a nifty idea for recycling from your holiday cards and projects!

I stamped the tag using a beautiful image from the Christmas Cheer stamp set available at Inspired by Stamping!!   The base of the card is embossed with a sheet music folder and the tag is embossed with tiny polka dots!

Thanks so much for visiting today!!

Hugs!
