The Shabby Tea Room #75!

Hello sweet bloggity friends and welcome to this week's challenge at The Shabby Tea Room!  Melissa is our creative host this week for challenge #75 - 'Polka Dots' and she has provided this sweet picture for inspiration ...

... and asks that we all create a card or project USING POLKA DOTS!  Easy peesy, right??!!  (You need not use the colors from the inspiration photo unless you are inspired by them!)

Our sponsor in the Tea Room this week is Adela Rossol - Creations by AR.  Adela was gracious enough to provide each Shabby Girl with one of her awesome 3-D templates to work with this week and I got to design with the Mini Bakery template ... just too sweet!!

The inside of the template houses a tiny tray with cut outs -- perfect to hold mini cupcakes ... too ca-ute!

Aren't those mini cupcakes adorable peeking out through the template windows!

I decorated the 'roof' of my cupcake bakery with some yummy polka dotted glitter paper from Doodlebug Designs ... looks like sugared icing doesn't it!  The addition of a few embellies on the top to include a couple satin flowers, pink glittered leaves, white berries, pink grosgrain ribbon and a pretty little cupcake tag make this a gift you'll love to give and your recipient will ADORE to receive!!!

I made a teeny tiny matching card with a birthday theme and then die cut a tiny envelope with turquoise glittered polka dots all over it ... a felt cupcake embellie on the envie completes this {sweet} gift set!

Almost too yummy to give away!  Super easy to assemble ... I think I'll make a bunch of these up and put away so I'll have them on hand for all the birthday occasions that pop up throughout the months ... I love to give handmade gifts and especially adorable little 3-D templates like this!

Be sure to check out the projects that the other Shabby Girls have created for your inspiration this week:
