Crafty Secrets Design Team Challenge - 'Fairies' and a GIVEAWAY!

Hi sweet bloggity friends and welcome! I'm super excited to share a project with you today that I designed for Crafty Secrets ... the Design Team was given the assignment of creating with a theme of 'Fairies' this month -- what a fun challenge!

Click on the pictures to enlarge to see the full detail!

I decided to make a shabby and vintage-inspired keepsake album -- made from paper lunch bags!  I turned the bags sideways and cut off the tops (cut them 5" square -- keeping the bottom part in tact -- this will become your pocket).

I decided since my pages were going to be super chunky with lots of delicious ribbons, trims, flowers, trinket pins and such added, I would make four double-sided pockets to hold lots of pictures or treasures!

I adore how the front page of the keepsake album turned out ... isn't that little fairy girl precious with her little magic wand and kitten beside her??

The addition of some trims, paper doilie, organza flowers and rhinestones make this album cover perfect!

The next couple of pages were covered with more pretty papers from the Creating with Vintage Patterns CD available from Crafty Secrets and I set to work decorating them up!

I love the bright pops of color on this page with the sweet banner elements and cute little fairy girl!  She is ready to party with her delicious-looking lollipop in hand and came prepared with her 'ticket to the party' ready to go!

These next two pages are among my favorites!  I adore these papers ... so gorgeous, soft and pretty!

I did some stamping for this page .. that little fairy girl is precious and I love how she looks framed in the blue vintage frame element that comes in the Creating With Vintage Patterns CD!   The addition of a garden of blossoms and a sweet little birdie make this page pop with wonder!

The next couple of pages were covered with more beautiful papers from the CD!

Some more printed digital elements from the CD to include the frame, lock and key!

Materials list from Crafty Secrets to complete this project:

Born To Fly stamp set

I would have to say both my little girl and I loved all of the pages, but my favorite has to be the turquoise and yellow, such beautiful colors together so appealing they way you put it together (and turquoise being my fav color anyway). Thanks for the chance to win some great Crafty Secrets products!
