The Shabby Tea Room #62!

Welcome friends to the 62nd challenge at The Shabby Tea Room!  This week brings Sheri as our lovely host and she has chosen the theme of MONOCHROMATIC for us to create with this week ... inspired by this beautiful photo:

I adore making monochromatic cards and this one was no exception!!

I used my favie color ... PINK!  I bet ya'll are NOT surprised by that, huh??  Anything that WAS white or cream got a coat of Vintage Pink glimmer mist and some pink glitter - yummy!!  That pretty fabric trim in the shape of pennants is some antique goodness I picked up at a recent antique show and then spritzed it with glimmer mist to give it a pink hue!

The Beary Scrap Paper Crafting Boutique is our wonderful host this week (and I am also Guest Designing with their team during April, May and June), so I decided to pick a couple pinky-pink things from the goodies that oh-so-generous Kimm has sent me to design with from her shop and use them for my Tea Room card this week!  Papers are Annalee and Sparkling Spring Collections from Prima, pink Rhinestones from Kaisercraft, Mulberry Calla Lillies and Mulberry Pink & White Roses

And here is my sweet, pretty in PINK card!

Be sure to visit the other Shabby Girls' blogs to see what they have created for your inspiration this week:

Charlene Cundy - Expresstions of Me!

Danielle Greenwood - Au Clair de La Lune
Melissa Bove - Creating From the Heart

Pattie Goldman - The Pampered Paper Patch

Sheri Holt - My Sheri Cards

And then hop on over to the Tea Room to check out the gallery and submit YOUR card!

Be sure to stop by Kimm's SHOP and leave her a little love too!
The Beary Scrap Challenge Blog theme this week is 'nature' -- I'll be posting on Thursday!
