Hello all and welcome to the latest installment of the
DeNami Designs Monthly BLOG HOP Series!!
This one was easy peesey for me ... GIRLIE GIRL!!! I had such a fun time making this card and I hope you enjoy peeking :)
I used two of my favie DeNami Designs stamps on this card - Glamour Dress and Rosevine Heart -- aren't they so pretty?!? I stamped the dress image on patterend paper, cut it out, inked the edges with cream paint to create a time-worn look, added green pearls from Melissa Frances for the necklace and a snipett of lace at the waist and then attached it to the card with dimensionals to add depth.
I stamped the Rosevine Heart image on grid pattern paper from Melissa Frances, die cut the image out using a Spellbinders scalloped die and backed it with another standard heart die cut from Kraft cardstock, softly colored the leaves with watercolor markers, added pink pearls from Melissa Frances to the roses and overstamped the 'Bliss' sentiment -- also adding some machine sewing as an accent! The pretty handmade blooms are made using Springtime Vintage fabric, gathered and sewn together, and then the cent is a hand rolled rosette made using Melissa Frances cream crepe paper. The leaves are also cream and green crepe paper, layered one over the other and machine sewed down the middle.
The card base is another lovely piece of girly patterned paper from Melissa Frances' 5th Avenue Collection -- edges are inked in cream paint for an antique look and I overstamped a postal sentiment from Stampin' Up! on top.
