The Shabby Tea Room #57!

Hello my sweet bloggity friends and welcome to the #57 challenge at The Shabby Tea Room - 'Doilies & Lace'!  This week Melissa is our fabby-shabby host and has given us all this beautiful picture to be inspired by ...

... and asks that we create a card or project using DOILIES and/or LACE!  YUM :)

In my comfy, sweet and shabby style, I loaded this card with lots of {love} and added both a doilie and lace!  I simply ADORE spring and all the pretty colors it brings to brighten up the dreery days of winter.  Such pretty pinks, yellows, blues and creams in all those pretty daffodils, tulips, dogwoods and azaelias!   I added shabby inked birdie that is a cut file from My Time Made Easy called A Little Birdie, some PTI stamped images and die cuts (that sweet butterfly is from Melissa Phillips Love Lives Here collection!), a paper doilie and flower - spritzed with pink Glimmer Mist, some pearls, bits and bobs ...

... a glittered chipboard heart, a sweet vintage post card with a mommy bird watching over her sweet little baby eggs, some Shabby Vintage Seam Binding from my Etsy Shop called Oatmeal Cream, delicious pink pom-pom trim ...

... some gorgeous lace trim and the prettiest papers from Prima called Annaleee and Botanical - both available from The Beary Scrap Paper Crafting Boutique !

Our sponsor in the Tea Room this week is Cupcake Cards & Craft!

Mandy, owner of Cupcake Cards & Craft has generously donated this pretty digital paper package for one lucky Tea Room winner this week ... who will it be -- maybe YOU :)

Very shabby chic! I really love this style, but haven't quite mastered it myself, so I'm always impressed with those designers who can pull it off. You did a beautiful job!!
