The Shabby Tea Room #52!

Good morning everyone and welcome to The Shabby Tea Room's 52nd challenge - WOW!  Hard to believe we've been creatin' along in the Tea Room for one year now.  You won't want to miss next week's festivities to celebrate our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY ... stay tuned!

This week Cathy is our fabby host and she has chosen the theme of 'Luck of the Irish' along with this beautiful picture for inspiration ...

... and asks us to create a card this week using the color GREEN!

Our sponsor in the Tea Room this week is Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps!  Robyn generously supplied the Shabby Girls with some of her lovely digital images to design with this week ... I chose to work with Primitive Birdhouse!  I put my signature shabby spin on this little paper crafted confection ... inking edges of papers with kraft paint to create a time-worn look, a snipett of kraft colored vintage lace, a kraft colored felt heart, machine sewing on the edges of paper and trims, adding lace, paper doilies, gingham trim, baker's twine, a pretty green leaf trinket pin, pearls, glitter and bits and bobs of love!

I used {lots} of green on my card, a four leaf clover like the inspiration photo ... and I interpreted the dew drops on the foilage in my design as sweet sugar drops of glitter on the flowers!!!

Be sure to hop on over to the Tea Room to check out all the details for this week's challenge ... and be sure to visit the Shabby Girls' individual blogs for lots more creative ideas!
