My Time Made Easy January Release!

Confucious wishes you all Good Fortune for 2011!  Happy New Year!!

Welcome to the official January Release party for My Time Made EasyLauren has some absolutely adorable goodies for us all to create with this month, so grab a cup of coffee or a glass of champagne -- depending on when you are reading this, and settle in for some fun eye candy from me and the MTME Design Team Girlies :)

Introducing ... the So Fortunate template:

This is a cutie patootie, easy-to-assemble 'take out' style box template that comes together lickity split in just two pieces!  I printed out some Blossoming Cherries digital papers and then cut the template and decorative layer pieces using my Cricut (but just as easy to cut and assemble using the PDF format file)!

I decorated and embellished this sweet little box by adding glitter to the cherry blossoms, sewing around the edges of the decorative layers with my sewing machine, adding some blue satin ribbon, berries and a glittered paper flower.  The tag is a piece of the What's My Fortune?  Cookie cut file that I inked with green paint and used the So Fortunate stamp set for the sentiment!

For the matching card, I printed out some Fun & Fortune digital papers, inked the edges and created a card base.  I used the So Fortunate stamp set to stamp the sentiments and decorative accents!  More glitter was added to the stamped cherry blossom flowers on the bottom left of the card and to the little china doll's dress and the lantern!

After I stamped and colored the china doll image, I cut her out and adhered her to the card base with dimensionals so she stands out as the focal point of the card!  Isn't she just adorable with her pink, rosey cheeks and sweet little smile!

What a lovely gift set ... mine is filled with Lindor Truffles Chocolates - yum!  My brother just purchased a new home and moved in this past Wednesday, so I will be sending this to him along with a gift card from Bed, Bath and Beyond so he can get something he needs for his new place!!

Thanks for popping in today and peeking at my design samples!  Please be sure to visit all the MTME Girlies' blogs for more wonderful inspiration using these fun, new goodies from the shop!

And don't forget to visit the MTME Designer's Gallery for tons more creativity and inspiration!
