My Time Made Easy - day #3 peeks!

I've been waiting for a goodie just like the 'Any Way You Slice It' template that will be brand new in November ... and the waiting is no longer!! This little 'cutie pie' will be available in the My Time Made Easy shop starting tomorrow!

How absolutely adorable is this sweet slice of cake ...  the template was so easy to assemble -- I cut the two pieces out with my Cricut and it went together in less than five minutes!

I used some new digital papers from the 'Timeless Tradition' and 'Candy Shop' lines - yummy!  I've become quite addicted to using digital papers since begining to work with MTME -- print just what you need, less waste, no papers in a 'pack' that you don't care for!

I love how the big polka dotted flower coordinates with the plaid patterned paper!  Lots of embellies added here, bead, berries, rolled roses, glitter, trinket pins, Cameo Beige Sugar Shabby Vintage Seam Binding from my Etsy Shop, vintage lace, pom-pom trim, wide grosgrain ribbon, embossed and glittered leaves, velvet rose, glittered chipboard - yummy!

The view from each side is so pretty!  I {heart} that big pink bow, don't you?

And, no gift set is complete, in my opinion, without a sweet little coordinating card!  The sentiments were stamped using the new 'Secret Santa' set ... which is also the perfect coordinating set for Lauren's 'In Suspense' template released last month!

Now, who wouldn't like to get a 'sweet treat' like this one this holiday season?!?

Please take a few minutes to visit the other Design Team girlies to be inspired by their awesome projects ...
you're NOT going to believe how creative the team got with their adorable takes on this sweet template!

Pile It On! #43! and a FOND Farewell ...

I am sad while typing this post ... it will be my last as a Design Team Member for the awesome gals at the Pile It On! challenge blog.  I can hardly believe it's been six months since Dalis invited me to join her group of talented girls -- time flies when you're having a BALL :)  Although Dalis was so sweet to invite me to stay for another 3 month term, I've decided to step down for a while and maybe make room for some fresh talent over at PIO.  Rest assured, I'll be happy to play as often as my schedule allows with the weekly challenges ... I always have so much FUN {piling it on}!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our challenge theme this week is to create a card or project using a bear and a friend!  Our sponsor provided this sweet image and I had fun glittering it up:

That pretty red snowflake paper is from the 12 Days of Snowflakes collection from My Time Made Easy!

My Time Made Easy Peeks - Day #2!

Welcome to day two of the My Time Made Easy November peeks :)  I have a pretty little holiday card to share with you all today that I made using these new in November goodies from the shop:

Sugar & Spice stamp set (set of 17 images)
Secret Santa stamp set (set of 32 images)
Trendy Tags #5 cut file

And here you are ...

First I stamped the door from the Sugar & Spice set and colored the handle in with a gold pen.  Next I stamped the round window image from the set on a piece of vanilla CS, punched out the center and then glued snipets of punched pieces from a Martha Stewart holly bough punch around to make a wreath.  To finish off the door, I glued on a gold bow and added some red stickles' berries'!

The sentiment was stamped using the Secret Santa set on one of the tags from the Trendy Tag #5 cut file.  I love these tag cut files ... you can actually fit 3 whole files across a 11" wide piece of CS and cut out nine tags on your Cricut all at once!  I {heart} anything that saves time -- especially during the busy holiday season!

A pretty red ticking stripe bow, a satin flower and pearls, embossed leaves and some pretty punched borders and wha-la!  Classic elegance :)

I hope you've enjoyed this peek!  Please take some time to visit some of the other Design Team girlies' blogs to be inspired by their amazing creations!

My Time Made Easy Peeks begin today - Day #1!

WOW, what a quick month October was!  It seems as though I was just here sharing adorable little peeks of all of the wonderful new Halloween-y things that Lauren offers in the shop, and now here we are again peeking at what is to be released in just three short days over at My Time Made Easy on November 1st!

I am beyond excited about the new stamp sets and templates this month ... so cute, so adorable, so pretty, can be used even after the holidays!  Be sure to hit the link list below each of my peek posts and check out what the other MTME Designers have created for your inspiration this month :)

Ready ... set ... here we GO!!!  Introducing:  Dashing Through the Snow (set of 22 images), Secret Santa (32 images) and The Gingersnap's (set of 17 images)!

I giggled with glee when I saw these adorable sets!!!  I have to admit, I think they have become my all-time favorite holiday stamp sets -- each little image is simply precious!  Look at that whimsical sled piled high with presents!  How about that sweet little reindeer with his glittered antlers and sparkly holly leaf and berry collar?  The gingerbread family set is a 'must have' and the sweet jingle bell is precious!

I decided to create a set of four 3.25" square tags in a very soft, vintage inspired palette!  The cardstock/ink colors are vanilla, blush blossom and sage shadow.  The Shabby Vintage Seam Binding is Paradise Aqua Mist from my Etsy Shop!

I cut out the sweet cards with the Sentimentals Cartridge on my Cricut - easy peesy!

Some buttons, pearls, glitter and coloring, and wha-la!  The patterned paper from MTME used for the flowers and leaves is Ga Ga For Gingham (Blushing) - YUM!  I adore gingham checks!

This fun little 'Winter Wonderland' set was also created for today's Fussy & Fancy Friday Challenge #22!  Be sure to visit the blog to check out what the other F&F designers made for this fun challenge :)

You can view my original post HERE!

Thanks to Paige and the Cards team :)

JustRite Holiday Recipe - WINNER!

I am over the moon excited and tickled {pink} ... I just found out that the project I created for last week's JustRite Friday #41 Challenge - create a project incorporating a holiday recipe into it - won first place!

I created a multi-part chipboard clipboard that can hold holiday recipes, menus, to do lists, cards or whatever you'd like to showcase!  I also created some sparkly, glittered clips to hold your holiday paper goods together - neat and organized - and lastly I included a recipe for some yummy-licious Candy Cane Brownie Lollipops which I made last year for my annual cookie exchange :)

You can view my original post HERE!  I {heart} to design cards, but my 'specialty' is gifts and altered items.  I adore creating gift sets and even more, I LOVE to give them to my friends and loved ones!!

A big thank you to Sharon and the girlies at JustRite Stamps :)

The Shabby Tea Room is Hopping with JustRite Stamps today!

Welcome to JustRite Stampers’ newest Wednesday feature, 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hop #8! Every Wednesday up until Thanksgiving some of your favorite designers will be joining some of the JustRite design team for a series of Christmas blog hops, showcasing JustRite’s entire Christmas Collection of stamps! And don’t forget that JustRite has some Christmas stamps in their newly released CLING line of stamp sets -- you can find them HERE. This week, the designers joining the JustRite design team are the Flower Soft and The Shabby Tea Room challenge blog design teams! So mark your calendars for Wednesdays at 9am Central for great Christmas gift, card & project ideas, starting at the JustRite Inspiration blog!

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

I had sooooo much fun designing this adorable holiday clipboard that I can't wait to set on my kitchen counter once December 1st rolls around!  It seems as though the holidays give us all 'license' to use as much glitter as our hearts desire on projects (although I seem to use it liberally ALL year long!), so this sweet project is sprinkled generously with red, green and diamond glitter to make it sparkle and shine!  The JustRite stamped images on the clipboard are from the Christmas Nested Sentiments, Something Sweet and Baking Stamp Ensemble sets.  Patterned papers are from Cosmo Cricket and lots of yummy embellies added from Webster's Pages, Maya Road, Stampin' Up!, Prima & Really Reasonable Ribbons!

You can use a decorated clipboard such as mine for so many fun things ... here are a couple ideas I came up with:

To hold your favorite holiday recipe while you're baking in the kitchen ~

To hold your holiday menu so guests know what they will be dining on ~

To hold your 'to do' list during the hectic holiday season to keep you on track ~

I also made some coordinating glittered clips to place on your lists for the holidays, holds them all together, keeps everything neat and in one place and are not only practical, but CUTE too!

Candy Cane Brownie Lollipops
1 pkg. fudge brownie mix plus ingredients to prepare
24 candy canes
10 oz. chocolate flavored almond bark

Prepare brownies according to package directions.  Cool 20 minutes until slightly warm.  Cut off ends of candy canes to form 4 1/2" sticks.  Place candy cane tops in resealable plastic bag and crush.  Scoop out rounds of brownie, packing with hands.  Roll Brownie scoops into smooth balls.  Insert candy cane sticks into centers, mounding brownie around stick.  Melt almond bark in small bowl according to package directions.  Spoon melted bark over each brownie, coating completely.  Dip into the crushed candy canes and place in small foil cupcake line.  Enjoy :)

Please visit these designers’ blogs to see what fabulous JustRite Christmas inspiration they have for you on the hop today!

Stitched With Love!

I had some time today to 'just play' ... back to creating for teams and deadlines tomorrow!  I decided to look up a couple of my favorite challenge blogs to see what they had posted for challenges and found some fun ones to play along with this afternoon :)

The JustRite Friday Inspiration Challenge #40 is to make a card or project using fall colors and JR stamps.  I used the Applique set - one of my all time favorites!  I decided to make a miniature quilt with the Applique stamps, stitched it together with my sewing machine, bound the edges with twill tape, spritzed it with gold, tattered rose and vintage cream Glimmer Mists from Tattered Angels and then added some champagne colored pearls to the centers of each square!  I hung my sweet little paper quilt using mini clothespins and hung it on a line with rope twine!

The sketch I used for this design is this week's Waltzingmouse Sketch #19 ... they want us to use stamping as the main focal point of our design which I did with my little quilt!  Such a sweet and simple sketch and I just blinged mine up a bit with a few spritzes and embellies!!!

Other challenge this card fits:

The Shabby Tea Room #32 - chocolate covered autumn
Our Creative Corner - embellies/the more the merrier

*Paper Crafts Magazine has this definition of Vintage Style:  Soft, distressed elements, vintage images and found elements such as buttons, crochet trim, flowers made out of old dress patterns.

The Shabby Tea Room #32!

Week #32 in the Tea Room brings us this scrumptious inspiration photo ...

... and our host, Pattie, is asking us all to create a card or project using the colors in this photo, the theme or both!  I chose to create a gift set based on the colors and the yummy theme:

I used a template from My Time Made Easy called Trendy Tote - one of my all time favorites :)  It goes together in a snap and you can fill the inside with so many wonderful goodies!  I chose to fill mine with Pumpkin Spice coffee, chocolate truffles and biscotti cookies!

All of the adorable images are digital files provided by our sponsor this week, Meljen's Designs!  I printed out a page full of images that would coordinate with my fall themed gift and papers and set myself in front of my soaps one afternoon - coloring the afternoon away!

How sweet are these little scarecrow images!  Just precious!!  The 'Friends' tag was printed from a Freebie Monday image ... I thought it went well with these two little scarecrow buddies :)

I turned this pumpkin image into an adorable tag/card by backing it with some cardstock!

So here is my complete gift set ... kinda cute, don't ya' think!!!

Please take some time this week to visit the other Shabby Girls' blogs to be inspired by their lovely work:
