My Time Made Easy Wonderfully Wrapped Hop!

Thank you for peeking in today ... I have a treat for you -- a brand new template release today at My Time Made EasyLauren has created the most wonderful template for December's release -- it's called Wonderfully Wrapped!  It's another one of those very versatile, very easy to put together templates that is the perfect size to hold cookies, candy, socks, jewelry, popcorn, crafting supplies for your favorite paper crafter {giggle} ... you name it.  It's big 'enough' to hold a lot, but small enough to be a quick and easy project!

I decided to create my gift box with a shabby and vintage theme ... my favorite design style - so warm and welcoming!  I cut the template with my Cricut using Cake Crumbs CS and then printed and cut the decorative panels using Botanical Beauty - Sunflowers digital paper ... so vintage-y and pretty!  I adhered the decorative panels to the box by sewing a zig zag stitch around all the edges.  Then I had fun layering some gorgeous embellies ... a paper doilie spritzed with Tattered Rose Glimmer Mist, some vintage lace trim ...

... a shabby metal embossed reindeer, a rusty jingle bell tied onto a button with baker's twine, a tiny satin flower & pearl, some sparkly leaves I hand cut, a trinket pin (from June Lanum) ...

... some Vintage Winter White Shabby Seam Binding from my Etsy Shop, a satin rouched flower (from Craft Broulee), and a tag that I stamped using the A Spot of Tea stamp set and the sentiment is from the Sugar & Spice stamp set.  A tiny blue pearl and a bit of sparkly glitter finish off the tag - YUM!

I inked the edges of the Cake Crumb CS with cream paint and then stamped one of the snowflake images from the Dashing Through The Snow stamp set with Very Vanilla craft ink and embossed it using pink pearls embossing powder ... soooo pretty IRL!

Lastly, I added a vanilla button with a little more baker's twine at the point where the two sides overlap to give it a finished look.  Wha-la ... what do you think?  Pretty adorable, huh!!

Have fun this month shopping at the My Time Made Easy store ... you'll find so many wonderful tools to make your holiday crafting and gift giving so easy peesy.  Your projects will 'wow' the recipients and you will be so proud to give such gorgeous, 'handmade with love' treasures to your family and friends!
