The Shabby Tea Room #34!

Oh my shabby goodness ... I am IN LOVE with the inspiration photo that Cathy chose for us to work with for this week's challenge at The Shabby Tea Room --

... isn't it absolutely DELICIOUS!  Such a vintage kitchen nook and look at all those antique bowls, cups and tools ... I could certainly live in a kitchen like that!!

I had a blast making this project ... and I tried to stay very true to both the colors and theme of the picture!!  I stamped the tea cup to give it a vintage look, stamped a tag and attached it with yummy baker's twine, set up tea cup on a lace-lined shelf (paper doilie spritzed with Old Lace Glimmer Mist) and added some ruffled satin ribbon in the back for texture.  I machine sewed around all the edges and inked the edges to give that weathered dark shelf look!

I used one of my absolute favorite sets from My Time Made Easy called A Spot of Tea and also Fancy a Cuppa?.   The polka dot DSP is also from MTME - Darling Dots!  The Shabby Vintage Seam Binding on the tag is Oatmeal Cream from my Etsy Shop!

The colors I used are Riding Hood Red, Marina Mist and Very Vanilla.

So what do ya' think ... pure sweetness and such a pretty little gift card for a special friend indeed!

Our {sweet} sponsor this week in the Tea Room is There She Goes Stamps and has provided this awesome stamp set for our lucky winner:
