Joyeux noel ...

Just a quick little post for you all to peek at this afternoon ... I'm heading out shortly to pick up a cake and balloons and then meeting my hubby and our oldest son on the campus of NC State University where he attends college.  Today is his TWENTIETH birthday and we want to celebrate 'live' with him!!  Our family went out last night for dinner at the Cheesecake Factory (yum), but we still wanted to see him on 'the day'.  We're going to have dinner with him in the dining hall at his dorm and then birthday cake - yummy!!

Pink and green is my absolute favorite color combo - next to pink and aqua, so this was a fun card to design!  Lots of shabby love ... lace, glitter, burnt edge flower, felt, pearls, snowflake dies, a tag and Holly-Day Leaves cut file from My Time Made Easy!   This card went together so quickly -- the dove and snowflakes are dies, leaves are cut files I cut with my Cricut, tag from the office store and inked with pink and green paint, burnt flower with Prima center - easy peesy!

I used Mona's current color palette ... scrumptious!
