Pile It On #27!

This week over at Pile It On! we have a fun challenge ... with many challenge blogs hosting 'Christmas in July' themed challenges, we decided to give this fun idea a TWIST!  The #27 challenge this week is to make a non-holiday themed card or project ... BUT use holiday colors!  Pretty fun, huh??!!

Our sponsor this week at PIO is The Character Cafe and they provided the DT with some yummy images to create with!  Isn't this little girle precious with her crazy hair?  That is what I look like when I wake up in the morning ... but she is definitely much cuter with her glittered bow and shoes and that pretty little bunch of flowers she's holding!!

I used some old Ski Slope DSP from SU! for my card ... rich colors of Old Olive, Real Red, Chocolate Chip and Baja Breeze - yummy!  The spiral flowers are handmade by me ... see my tutorial  at KL Stampin' N' Scrappin'.

Now your turn ... hop on over to the PIO! blog to be inspired by the other design team gals' work and then give our holiday colors challenge a try :)

Challenges for this card:

Pile It On! #27 - holiday colors for a non-holiday design
The Shabby Tea Room #17 - embossing
Truly Scrumptious #36 - sketch and optional garden theme
Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenges #74 - Christmas in July
Fussy and Fancy #14 - Christmas in July
City Crafter Challenge Blog #12 - red and summer
The Pink Elephant #74 - 3 layers, 2 punches, 1 ribbon (satin ribboned flowers)
