KL Stampin' N' Scrappin' - #37!

This week at the KL Stampin' N' Scrappin' Challenge Blog, Risa is our host and she has chosen the theme of 'Summer Fun' for us to create with for the Week #37 Challenge!

When Kelly sent me my July DT packet and sweet, little Mr. Edwin was included, I just knew that he would work perfectly for the 'Summer Fun' challenge ... and in particular with a 4th of July theme!  Isn't he cute holding his little red, white and blue flag?  For my project this week, instead of making a card, I decided to make a door hanging so I could display all of this cuteness in my home!

Much yumminess here including an old, tattered book page, red bloomer and DSP from Webster's Pages, glittered star chipboard from Melissa Frances, gathered seam binding flower in 'Cake Crumbs' from my Etsy Shop and delicious twine, buttons and pearls :)  The July paper is actually a page from a SU! mini calendar!

Supplies used from the KL Stampin' N' Scrappin' on-line shop:  Edwin stamp by Magnolia; Porcelain DSP by Basic Grey.

Select colors of my Shabby Vintage Seam Binding also available at KLSNS!

Challenges for this card:

KLSNS #37 - Summer Fun
Curtain Call #36 - Real Red, Kraft, White, Blue
Cupcake Inspirations #65 - Red, White, Blue
Meljen's Designs #14 - Red, White, Blue
Stamptacular Sunday #65 - stars, stripes and stamping
Papertake Weekly - stitching (gathered seam binding flower)
Papercraft Star #2 - Red, White, Blue
The Creative Cottage #17 - summer surprise
