MY PRECIOUS PUPPY GIRL!

Some of you have had the pleasure of meeting my 'daughter' Hershey. She's a six-year-old Toy Poodle weighing in at 8 pounds and the cutest little puppy in the whole wide world (okay, I'm a little prejudiced!). She had her 'day of beauty' today with her groomer, Darla. Isn't she BEAUTIFUL? She's all set for Valentine's Day with the little red bows in her hair. What a good little girl to sit still for mommy to take her picture! Me thinks she deserves a treat ... SUCH A CUTE BABY DOLL!

Two Cool Dudes - for my TOP HOSTS!

Every year, I always REWARD the TOP 25 Tastefully Simple hosts from the previous year. This year the top 10 will be receiving either a beautiful full-color Tastefully Simple calender with delicious TS food on each page or a Go Italian Cookbook ... and, of course, a Two Cool Dudes handmade card! The remaining top 15 hosts will be receiving an Oh My Chai packet along with the handmade card. I made all 25 cards while on planes and in airports traveling to and from to attend the Annual Leadership Conference for Tastefully Simple this year which was held in WARM and SUNNY Tuscon, Arizona last Thursday - Sunday!!
Recipe:
Stamp Set: Two Cool Dudes
Ink: Pacific Point Blue, White Craft
Cardstock: Pacific Point Blue, Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White
Accessories: Green Chunky Glitter, Pacific Point Blue striped ribbon, glue dots, 2-way glue pen, orange Stampin' Write marker.
PS - don't know why some of my pics turn themselves sideways when I take the picture the regular way (horizontal). If anyone has any advice how I can fix this, I'm all ears!!!

Candy Lane Pizza Box w/ Notes!

This is the cutest little mini 'pizza box' with four 3 x 3 cards and lined envelopes inside! Some of my Club girls made this project this month and they just LOVED it ... meeee tooo, giggle! Here is the recipe:
Stamp Set: Love You Much
Cardstock: Candy Lane DSP, Close to Cocoa, Riding Hood Red, Very Vanilla, Pink Pirouette
Ink: Close to Cocoa, Riding Hood Red
Accessories: Bone folder, sticky strip, SNAIL adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Heart to Heart Punch, Scallop Edge Punch, Chocolate Chip 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, mini square envelopes, crafter's tool kit, Red Chunky Glitter.
Cutting Directions for the Pizza Box: cut RRR cardstock 5 1/4" x 9 1/2"; score at 1", 4 1/4", 5 1/4" and 8 1/2" on the long side. Rotate 90 degrees and score at 1" down each side. Cut tabs on long scored side ONLY up to the 1" score line -- you will have 4 cuts down each long side 1" deep. Use bone folder to fold crisp and then attach side tabs with sticky strip. Top is not adhered to bottom -- to allow it to open and close like a pizza box.

Cards From Friends!

Barbara Regan

Sorry ... don't know why a few are turned sideways and I don't know how to fix it. Those of you that know me well, know I'm very technically challenged, so it's a MIRACLE that I can even get the pictures from the camera onto this page!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm BACK!

Hi Stamping Friends!! It's very hard for me to believe that it's been several weeks since I've posted to my blog. The holidays were super hectic this year and I hit the ground running in January taking down decorations and working on end of year tax paperwork in preparation for filing our FASFA applications for my college-bound son ... deadline 2/1/09!

I leave this Thursday to attend a Tastefully Simple conference in Tuscon, AZ, and as usual, I'll be bringing my Stampin' Up! stuff with me on the airplane to occupy my time en-route!! How lucky the person sitting next to me will be to hear me punching and cutting and gluing all the wayfrom Raleigh to Tuscon!!!

I'm very excited to host my first SU Club workshop this week before I leave and two more the week after I return home! We'll be working on Valentine's Day projects. I have them all picked out and gosh are they so darn cute! I'll post pictures as I get them assembled.

In the meantime, I'm posting pics here of some of the lovely cards I received from some of my wonderful stamping friends ... enjoy!!!
