Stamping Tea Party & Cookie Exchange!

A HUGE THANK YOU to all those in attendance today for my Stampin' Up Holiday Tea Party & Cookie Exchange!!! When all was said and done, I had 20 ladies at the house who enjoyed the festivities today - WOW! I really appreciate you all taking time out of your busy schedules to stop by and share some holiday cheer with me and my wonderful stamping friends. You ladies out did yourselves with the delectable cookies and treats you all made for the treat exchange - YUM! I had so much fun and the day came and went by much too fast for me. Hershey, my poodle, did a great job providing entertainment for us all ... her fashion show was a hoot! Thanks to Martha for being the designated professional photographer for the event. Martha took pics of every room, every decorated tree and even my stamping closet - OMG! I can't wait to meet with my Bedford Club tomorrow to see the rest of the pictures! I just can't put into words how much you all have touched my life in such a positive way through our stamping together. I am blessed to have such WONDERFUL friends and consider myself very fortunate that you all are a part of my life! I want to take this opportunity to thank you all once again and wish you a very safe and merry Christmas, and a healthy and blessed 2009!

My Stampin' Up! Christmas Tree!

Here is the latest edition to my Christmas tree collection ... a STAMPIN' UP! tree!!! I made all the decorations from the Country Living Holiday Kit, put some oversize white bulb lights and small irridescent white glass bulbs on the tree. It has a big, white snowflake bow at the top and a pink and white fluffy tree skit underneath! It's so cute ... I just love it!

Christmas Gift for a Friend!

This is a gift I made for my SU Manager, Amy! I gave it to her today and I think she liked it!! Who wouldn't ... it's so pretty! This is a variation on those that I've made and posted pics of previously. This one only has 3 frames and in the center I used the Big Shot Top Note die and stamped SU's Mission Statement. I like this one so much, I had a hard time giving it away! I know where I can go to visit it ... giggle, giggle!!!
Recipe:
Stamp Sets: Season of Friendship, SU Statement of the Heart
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze, Always Artichoke, More Mustard, Chocolate Chip
Paper: Kraft, Very Vanilla, Baja Breeze
Accessories: Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, 2-way glue pen, 3/4" circle punch, Always Artichoke brads, 1/16" circle punch, Big Shot Top Note die.

Glittered Snowflake 3-D Card!

Gorgeous card using the Big Shot and the large snowflake die! This is so pretty it may end up being my Christmas card for next year???
Recipe:
Stamp Set: Best Yet Host Set
Card Stock: Baja Breeze, Shimmery White
Ink: Baja Breeze, versamark
Accessories: Iridescent Ice embossing powder, heat tool, dimensionals, filigree designer brads, square punch.

Snow Swirled and Glittered TOO!

This is such a pretty card and very easy. The trick to the peek-a-boo window with glitter is using a piece of clear packing tape on the back of the punched out circle; then stick the glitter to it and let the image stamped underneath peek through!
Recipe:
Stamp Set: Snow Swirled
Paper: Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Ski Slope DSP
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red
Accessories: Big Shot small snowflake die, red rhinestone brads, 1/16" circle punch, 1 1/4" circle punch, Riding Hood Red taffeta ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.

CISCO Holiday Event!

I participated in a Holiday Vendor Event at the CISCO Campus in RTP. Many thanks to my friend, Catherine Willis, for obtaining an invitation to the event for me! Below are just a few of the pictures of my Tastefully Simple AND Stampin' Up! displays ... I participated with BOTH businesses!

BIG SHOT Snowman All Dressed Up!

Isn't this just about the cutest thing you've ever seen??? I made this adorable little snowman with a couple of Bigz Dies using the Stampin' Up! Big Shot die cutting machine. It was like playing with paper dolls. I made clothes for him with another die, used puffy paint and glitter to decorate him. I made his scarf from Ski Slope DSP and then put him 'walking' through a patch of snow with more mica flake glitter! In my world, you can't have too much GLITTER! I used one of the carousel notes to glue the scene onto and whala! What do you think???

Hot Chocolate Gifts for the Holidays!

These were so quick and easy using a can of Archer Farms (Target) Hot Cocoa Mix (Raspberry, French Vanilla & Mint!), some SU designer series papers, coordinating ribbons and one of the stamp sets from just Rite called Baking Stamp Ensemble! All 4 cans took me about 30 minutes to complete ... easy peesy!

Thanks to my good friend, Nicole Segnere, for sharing this idea with me! I don't remember the name of the person who came up with these, but I just love them!! I'm getting ready for the CISCO employee appreciation event Thursday, so I've been like a little elf in Santa's workshop ... cutting, stamping, gluing -- you should see my kitchen. No, I take that back ... you wouldn't want to see the mess in my kitchen right now - YIKES!! I'm having too much FUN!

Scallop Envelope Candy Holder!

Very, very 'sweet' holiday treat boxes! I made these with the Scallop Envelope Big Shot Die. They are the perfect size to fit 2 Ghirardelli chocolates (yum) or some other similar candy. It's also a nice way to use up scraps of designer series paper you have! Enjoy!!!

2009 Mini Calendars as gifts!

What to do on a cold, rainy day ... make 30 sets of mini calendars for gifts!!! Yes, my friends, that's 360 pages of stamped images for all 12 months - wow, my arms are aching but oh what fun I had! I completed all these sets over the course of a 24 hour period and they came out darling! I purchased clear acrylic covers with a magnet on the back to slip each page in for the appropriate month and they can hang on a refrigerator or desk. These will be gifts for my Tastefully Simple first line team members ... what do you think??? They were fun to make, but I'm sure glad they are done! Onto the next project ...
