Cherish For A Wedding

Another gorgeous design for a wedding card! This is my favorite in the whole world color combo - pink, green and cream ... delicious!!!!!

Take a close peek at the pink paper treatment on the bottom of the card -- I folded some soft pink floral designer paper into a ruffled band to look like a fabric ruffled trim. The picture doesn't even do this card justice -- it's simply stunning in person.
I hope you've enjoyed this peek :)
Supplies: Mellow Moss & Very Vanilla CS, Pretty in Pink ink, dazzling diamonds glitter, Very Vanilla satin ribbon, Illuminations stamp set (SU!); DSP (Anna Griffin); pearls (Kaiser); chipboard frame & Key Lime Glimmer Mist (Tattered Angels); paper flowers & leaves (Prima); satin flowers (Offray); Diamond Stickles; vintage trim, trinket pin, flowers from my stash baskets.

L is for Love ...

This is my take on the Stamptacular Sunday challenge this week! The challenge was to make a Valentine's theme card and you get extra bonus points for NOT using any hearts on the card. Easier said than done with it comes to Valentine's Day -- and especially when I'm a lover of glittered chipboard hearts!!!

I think it came out cute ... what do you think???

Supplies: Very Vanilla CS, Soft Suede & Riding Hood Red ink, Grateful Greetings & Vintage Labels stamp sets; curly label punch, Vanilla taffeta ribbon (SU!); glittered chipboard (Pebbles); chipboard button (Jenni Bowlin); DSP - Bella Bella (My Minds Eye), Be Good Favorite Things (Cosmo Cricket); pearls (Kaiser).

Friends ... color challenge card

This is my submission for this week's color challenge card over at The Play Date Cafe. Those sweet, Victorian girls are so lovely and when I found this vintage image, the colors worked *perfectly* for TPDC's challenge! Love it when a plan comes together!!!

What do ya' think??

CPS #153 Card Sketch

Well, for today's project I decided to step away from my 'usual' vintage, shabby style and change things up a bit! I was in the mood for over the top, bright, fun, funky and different! My usual cards are very soft, feminine, full of ribbons and vintage trims.

Today's card is my take on this week's Card Positioning Systems #153 Sketch. I love the hot pink and lime green color scheme ... VERY different for me for sure!

This card was fun to make ... boy you should see my craft room now -- cutting that maribou fur made a *huge* mess - there are tiny flitters of hot pink fur wafting around all over the place :) I was able to dig deep into my treasured bins, baskets and tins of embellies and include a few oh so cute goodies on this card for ya' all today! That heart shaped treat cup filled with V-Day Sweetheart candies is too cute! The glittered letters, buttons, glittered cardstock, glittered borders ... just simply YUMMY!
I hope you enjoy and have a good Super Bowl Sunday :)
Supplies: White CS (PTI), Pink Passion CS (SU!); DSP and scalloped trim (Doodlebug); chipboard letters (Basic Grey); buttons, twine (PTI); embossed heart stickers (Martha Stewart); heart corner punch, glitter, chipboard heart, heart treat cup (SU!); maribou fur (Target).
